Powerful Engineering
The upgraded 2.5L SUBARU BOXER® engine is lighter than ever before. All trim levels are equipped with the SI-DRIVE® engine management system with the eco-friendly Intelligent (I) mode. The standard Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time AWD system is upgraded to generate a quicker response time to unexpected changes. The system is constantly active and ready to handle all road and weather conditions. Lineartronic® CVT compliments the engine and AWD system providing superior handling under all conditions.
Next-Generation X-MODE®
On certain models, a dual-function version of X-MODE® controls the engine output, transmission, AWD torque split and braking system. X-MODE® improves grip, stability and control while on slippery surfaces and when climbing steep inclines. Hill Descent Control (HDC) applies brakes and works with X-MODE® to control speed down steep declines, allowing the driver to exclusively focus on steering.
Spacious Cabin, High-Quality Comfort
The ultra-versatile 60/40-split flat-folding cargo area can accommodate a tour-sized golf bag. Secure loose items with four tie-down hooks, two upper cargo hooks and four utility hooks. The power liftgate allows for easy access and features an auto-close functions which can be operated via the key fob. The stop-position memory function can set the hatch opening height. Increased headroom means tall passengers have space to enjoy the panoramic sunroof view. For extra-hot days, a manual sunshade blocks the sun and helps keep the cabin cool. Available heated front and rear seats provide addiction comfort on chilly days.
Ultra-Versatility in Low-Visibility
High Beam Assist detects oncoming vehicles and automatically switches off until the approaching vehicle passes. Steering Responsive Headlights turn in the direction the driver is steering towards, illuminating the read ahead. Available Auto-dimming Power-adjustable Mirrors are heated for superior visibility. EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology features stereo cameras mounted behind the windshield that capture a wide angle view of the road, help identify potential danger ahead. EyeSight® incorporates many safety features for the highest possible front-crash prevention ratings. The rearview camera features a washer system to clear dirt, mud and grime from the lens. The side Mirrors are aerodynamically sculpted to minimize blind spots and reduce wind.

This standard 6.5-inch and avaialbe 8-inch AM/FM/MP3/WMA capacitive touchscreen infotainment system features include dual USB ports/iPod® control, auxiliary audio input, steering wheel-integrated controls, and Apple CarPlay® and Android AutoTM functionality. SUBARU STARLINK® Connected Services brings added safety, security, comfort and convenience to every drive. Utilizing an on-board cellular connector and linked to the MySubaru App via your enabled smartphone, the system allows you to control and monitor. This unique suite of services is available on a free three-year trial subscription on the Touring trim level and up.
